About Abisko Guide

Abisko Guide is a company located in Abisko, Swedish Lapland. We offers a broad variety of activities. From easy day tours to more demanding activities such as ski touring,winter camping courses and winter expeditions.

Abisko Guide is founded and runned by Tim Nordström. Tim is born in the northern part of Sweden and moved to Abisko 10 years ago. Tim has been working as a guide and ski patroller for several years in Abisko. He has studied mountain and wilderness leadership at Malung Folkhögskola. He is also a field instructor for National Outdoor Leadership School wich he has been working for both in Alaska and in Scandinavia. Tim is trained in first aid and have a Wilderness First Responder certification.

Tim is also a dedicated photographer and have studied nature photography at Øytun folkehøyskole in Alta, Norway. He has long experience with still photography, time lapse and video production, mainly focusing on landscape and outdoor photography.
